Clinical Training & Multimedia Development

  • Collaborate with Medcor to design and produce a comprehensive training program for clinical teams focused on Medcor Care Protocols (MCPs) and Against Medical Advice (AMA) procedures. The goal was to transform complex medical information into clear, visually engaging learning modules that enhance comprehension, safety, and compliance.

  • As Lead Designer and Instructional Developer, I created multimedia training content that combined clarity, interactivity, and brand consistency.

    • Instructional Design: Structured medical protocols into digestible modules covering topics such as Delegated Medical Authority, protocol anatomy, evaluation steps, and referral levels (911, Emergent, Urgent, Non-Urgent, Self-Care). Developed specialized sections for overrides, life-threatening scenarios, downtime documentation, and adverse outcome reporting.

    • Visual Storytelling: Designed motion graphics and animated explainers to visualize decision-making workflows, reinforcing understanding of safe and compliant care.

    • Scenario-Based Learning: Created illustrated characters and workplace scenarios to demonstrate real-world MCP applications and AMA cases, showing clinicians how to respond and document correctly.

    • Brand Consistency: Applied Medcor’s visual identity through color systems, iconography, and typography to maintain a cohesive and professional look across all materials.

  • The final training suite delivered a standardized and engaging learning experience for Medcor’s Occupational Health Nurses and Technicians. The visual and interactive format improved knowledge retention, ensured legal and clinical compliance, and helped staff apply MCPs confidently across varied care environments—ultimately strengthening both patient safety and Medcor’s operational integrity.
